China Adventure 2009
Hello friends and family!
Just a quick posting to let you know that we (Lazars) are safely in Seoul, Korea Airport where we have a 5 hr layover until our flight to Shanghai.
With my frequent flier status, we had great exit row seats for the 13.5 hr flight from Chicago, and we have access to the business class lounge here - where we have access to free food and drinks, nicer space to chill out, and Kate even took a shower here at the airport.
The airport is really modern and nice here. Unfortunately we do not have enough time to head into the city.
By now Bill ad Norine are well on their way from DC to Chicago to Shanghai where they will arrive an hour after we do. That's when the real whirlwind adventure begins... and we are ready for it!
We shall do our best to keep up with blog postings!
BTW - we learned that you say 'thank you' in Korean as 'Kamza Hamida'... just in case you were wondering.
